Insurance
Services provided by our physicians in the hospital, the office, the SC Endoscopy Center, and the SC Endoscopy Center - Northeast will be filed to your insurance company, provided we are given sufficient information. You will, however, be asked to pay your deductible, copayment, or 20% of your office visit at the time of service. Please note that you are responsible for any balance that remains after your insurance pays. If you are uncertain whether our services are covered by your insurance plan, please check with your insurance carrier before your appointment.
Managed Care
We do participate with several managed care insurers. Please call our business office to verify our status with them. The deductible and/or copayment is expected at the time of service. If your insurance requires a referral, please contact your primary care physician to request one.
Medicare
Our office is a participating office with Medicare. However, patients are responsible for the deductible and co-insurance at the time of service. As an added service, if you have coverage secondary to Medicare, we will also file this for you.
